For anyone who wants a “wow” website but doesn’t actually want to deal with a website.

how it works

One. You purchase the service to get our attention, then tell us which 6 pages we’re building for you, what you want on those pages, and a little bit about your vibe. Don’t worry, we’ll boss you around on exactly how to do this.

Two. If you do a good job with your homework, and we receive everything we need, we officially put you on the calendar.

Three. We kick things off at 6am Eastern on your scheduled day, leveraging our 10+ years of design experience to completely transform your online presence You? You do nothing. Have a beer.

Four. We work until we’re done. We aim to wrap by 5pm eastern, but if we aren’t happy with it at 5, we’ll keep going, because we don’t settle and neither should you.

Five. When the magic is done, we’ll transfer ownership of your ready-to-launch website over to you. We can even help you do the shitty part like connecting your domain if you want.

Six. You immediately begin walking with a little more swagger and strut because now you’ll no longer have to wince when someone goes to your website.

Website Platform

We build on Squarespace, and you will need an active Squarespace Business plan to launch your site.

We’ll build on Showit upon request, because Lauren loves Showit, but we don’t touch Framer, Wix, Wordpress, Weebly…

Included Pages

This service includes up to 6 website pages. Generally this includes Home, About, Contact, Newsletter/Subscribe plus up to 2 pages specific to your industry. For example, if you’re an author, you want a books page. If you’re a comedian, you want a show schedule. Photographers will want a portfolio. If you’re a coach you want a services page. And so on.

*ecommerce/shop is out of scope. don’t get greedy.

Preparation is Everything

We will not book your day until we receive all of your website copy, images, design direction, etc. In order to accomplish the incredibly impressive task of building a website in a single day, we need to something to build the website with. But don’t stress. This is not our first rodeo, and we’ve learned how to make this painless for you.

If you Need creative control, this is not the service for you.

You know that scene in Titanic, when Jack’s like, “Do you trust me?” And Rose is like, “Well, I’ve known you for like, a day, so yeah, of course I’ll close my eyes and you teeter me over the Atlantic…”

This service is kinda like that. It requires you to trust that we know websites and design better than you do. We will take the direction you give us, and build you something amazing. But it is not a collaborative process, and there is not an opportunity for you to look at the finished site and say, “I like it, but …”

This service is about speed and affordability. If it’s feedback and input you’re after, you want a custom site.

  • Add-on pages are out-of-scope for this service, but we can show you how to duplicate one of our page designs and repurpose it.

  • We're pretty sure you won't. But if you want to make sure you have plenty of input and opportunity to request changes, check out our Custom Website service, as we do not offer refunds.

  • You will need to pay for a Squarespace (or Showit) subscription, plus your domain name. If you want us to embed a newsletter form, you will need to have an existing email marketing provider. Oh, and we strongly recommend investing in a privacy policy. If you provide us your policy, we'll even add it to your site, free of charge.

  • Squarespace is a no-code platform, so everything is drag-and-drop! We'll point you to some easy tutorials, or you can hire us at our hourly rate to make updates for you ($200/hour).

  • They're very easy for you to change on your own. We can send you a video tutorial on how. You can also tell us exactly what colors/fonts you want us to use before we start.

  • We're happy to source royalty-free images for you! Lauren loves doing that! But you should be comfortable with some of them being AI generated, and know that if you don't like what we choose, you're responsible for replacing them.

  • We love building author sites! If you're eyeing this service, the page limit means we won't be able to build individual book pages. But there are options! We can either do what we did on Rachel Van Dyken's website, and use the Books page to point people to their preferred where they browse all your books. Or, as we did for Taryn Quinn, where we linked their book covers on the Books page point to their existing geni.us links.
